Dr. H. K. Patil, Chairman Emeritus NAFCUB, launch portal for “CoopKumbh2025”
A portal (www.nafcubcoopkumbh2025.com) for the upcoming “CoopKumbh 2025” was launched by Dr. H.K. Patil, Chairman Emeritus NAFCUB and Minister of Law and Justice, Government of Karnataka, along with Sh. Laxmi Dass, President NAFCUB on April 04, 2025 at New Delhi. On the occasion, they invited all the stake holders of cooperative credit sector from all across the country to participate in this International Conference in a large number, which is scheduled to be held on November 08 – 09, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
United Nations has declared year 2025 as International Year of Cooperatives. To celebrate this mega event for cooperative credit sector in a befitting manner National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies (NAFCUB) is organizing an International Conference of Urban Cooperative Credit Sector “CoopKumbh2025”.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is invited to inaugurate and Hon’ble Union Minister for Home and Cooperation will preside. This event aims to bring together cooperative banks, credit societies and all those associated with the sector to discuss and explore opportunities for growth and development.
It's worth mentioning that NAFCUB has been working to strengthen the urban cooperative credit sector and this international conference is a step towards achieving that goal. The Ministry of Cooperation has also been actively involved in initiatives aimed at strengthening the cooperative movement in the country.
